We hope next year this can become more of an event because many people came into Downtown to have a good time. Some of the people we met haven't been Downtown for quite a while, some haven't been in town for years and they were pleasantly surprised how wonderful the town is.
I saw the Governor and Mayor greeting people in front of Wind Up Here as the night started. Then off the Governor went so she could get home to welcome the kids to her house. The Governor was easy to recognize, she had her Governor costume on, she will look different if you go to her house for a treat. This was another fun night in Olympia, lets do it again next year and make it even better for the kids.

VINTAGE THEATER SEATS NOW IN THE STORE

This is the cleanest set of theater seats I have ever had. We have had these seats for a couple of years but could never fit them into the old store so here they are finally in our store. This is the Aisle section and we have another like this in our storage area at the Ginger Street Studio. They are so clean they don't even have one piece of gum on the bottom of the seats. This is a rare find for condition so stop in to see them if you think you can use them in your entertainment room.
GINGER STREET STUDIO MAKES ANOTHER
SET OF WEDDING GLASSES
It is always a pleasure to make a set of glasses for people that fall in love and I have the oppertunity to be a part of one of the most memorable event in their lives. This set has a short stem with silver fumed with graceful decorations with 4 white birds on the glasses. The base on each glass has the names on them. His glass says Matt & Kelli, the other says her glass says Kelli & Matt, with a heart between each name.

OUR LITTLE ABBY COMES TO WORK FOR THE FIRST TIME
Oct, 28. Abby has been waiting for a long time to come to work at Ginger Street and the day finally arrived. Coming from the country side and into the big city she was very excited when she got out of the car and was standing on a real sidewalk. Once she came into Ginger Street she knew she was at our 2nd home. We told her she had to stay in the back room so she could not jump up on our customers and she didn't mind and was very obedient and passed the test to come with us when we both come to work. No more staying at home waiting for us to get back from the store. Abby got to take a ride over to Mud Bay Granary Pet Supply and get a new collar, tooth brush and tooth paste so she will look and smell her best when she comes to beautiful Downtown Olympia.

Ever since we moved our store to Olympia 2 years ago many people comment on how the store looks. Now in our new location we have been writing down what people say. We think that this might be the best way to define Ginger Street in a way that fits the store. It is very gratifying that people find that they have to say something about the look of Ginger Street. When most people come in and start to look around they start to smile and seem to just enjoy looking around trying to take it all in. Here are some of the things that people have said. OLYMPIA DOGS LOVE WALKING
BY GINGER STREET
We always have water out for the dogs that take their owners for a walk through town. The owners love it as much as the dogs. The water is from the spring on 4th Ave. so they are getting some of the best water around town. These dogs are some of the friendliest dogs you could ask for, oh and the owners are as nice as the dogs. So be sure to walk past our store when we are open for a drink and a penny treat. That's right we have a gumball machine with Dogie Treats from the Mud Bay pet store on Harrison for just a penny, so these are good treats. That's why Ginger Street is different and interesting for the Down Town Community, we have something for everyone, even the pets.

The rain could not keep the people in Olympia from coming out to show their love for Art and another night out in Downtown Olympia. All of our Artists had a great time being in our new store location. Ginger Street was filled with People until the end of the event, about 10:30 - 10:45 for us. We thank everyone that came out for a good time, especially the Artists that were part of Ginger Street this time around.
